Wasn’t until I read the South London Press this week that I discovered former Dulwich Hamlet youth team defender Kiki Oshilaja is skipper of Cray Valley (Paper Mills). Quite a talented player in Aspire Academy days but a big of a loose cannon. Guessing he’s settled down a bit.

I recently spoke to a friend of a friend who lives locally and watches them occasionally. Apparently they have a wealthy chairman who sticks money in, and there's also an intention to relocate to a new ground, although I've no idea of the time frame or how realistic that is.

I saw Pappoe for South Park against Marlow (who were eventually promoted) on the penultimate Saturday of last season. He was carrying a fair bit of timber but gave an immense performance as his team came within a whisker of pulling off a 1-0 win before conceding a scrambled equaliser deep into stoppage time. He's still only about 30 and captained a Chelsea team that won the FA Youth Cup, although I believe he missed the final through injury, and I don't think he's ever stayed fit enough for long enough to fulfil his potential since then.
