Flags

I've been looking for a decent example of this one [and in the proper size] to fly as a courtesy flag.

Oh, there's one of these in the Warrior Celt in Tokyo

Thanks for that. It made me finally take my huge collection of 1kg tahini tubs down the garden to my compost pile, take off the lids and leave them for nature to scrub out :)
The recycling people will probably assume I'm running a commercial hummus op. :D

I was curious what was going on in this image, and it seems to be a standard thing for Truss to have the flag of the UK and the flag of whatever country she's announcing a trade deal with on the desk in front of her and behind her - as you can see in this photo from a trade deal agreed with New Zealand:

But your guy has cropped one of these images so the other country's flag isn't visible so more people would share his tweet on twitter. Isn't that... a bit sad and desperate?

A side question on flags -

Am I correct in understanding that residents of Northern Ireland can opt to have the Union Flag omitted from the GHIC card but residents of Wales or Scotland are not being extended the same choice..?

In Wales

Before moving onto the next item of plenary, Ms Jones said: "Can I just say that I've noticed a tendency for a proliferation of flags flying behind members on Zoom this week.
"It looks as if the R rate on flags is greater than one at the moment.
"Therefore, from next week, no more flags - otherwise I'll be tempted to fly the flag of the independent tropical republic of Ceredigion behind me here.
"So we move on to a flagless week next week, please."
