Figs!

Hardly, the poor old wasps die and are disolved pollinating the fruits that we then eat. If there were no wasps there would be no figs. If there were no figs, bowel movements would be more strenuous and less pleasurable.
And by having a nice shit after eating figs we are shitting wasp shit that is inside the fig. Figs are basically wasp turd fruits.

we will still have bran. The only act of social good wasps get up to is occaisonly winning in a fight with a spider.

I think your post displays an ignorance of the biological reality as both wasp and turds would have been digested by the fig, long before you digested the fig. Would you regard strawberries growing soil that had been well-manured as horse shit fruit? Figs are clearly a healthy and wholesome fruit. Honey on the other hand is bee vomit, which is why I never spread it on my toast at breakfast.

mmmm...vomit on toast.

Figs are basically flowers that have shunned the outside world and turned in on themselves. The only way they can spread their pollen is if the fig wasp burrows inside.

The Chinese word for figs is wuhuaguo, which means fruit without flower.. I just bought a proper job lot.

Had a starter of chicken compot and caremelised figs on Sunday at a posh pub in Stroud that was bloody lovely. Always loved fig rolls but this is a new favourite
