I watched a few episodes of the first season but it didn't really do it for me, will give it another go for sure though, it has all the things I like so should be a favourite really.

She's also very good looking, adding to the all-round fuckability of this programme.

As a student of French, I've concluded that they have fewer swearwords than English. "Putain" and "merde" crop up a fair bit, and I heard "C'est quoi ce bordel" (What the fuck) last night. Other than that it seems not as rich in expletives.

i have been astonished to find out just how useful and wide-ranging 'putain' is, covering everything from 'oh fuck' to 'jesus christ'

but it's a great pity that french is so bereft of swear words.
