Monkeygrinder's Organ
Dodgy geezer swilling vapid lager
Translation: he's a big, clumsy donkey but he shouts a lot.
The 'classic' England centre back then.

Eurgh. I think that's worse. My mind will never be clean again.
I don't recall Iain Dowie playing in a World Cup.
But that could just be my brain refusing to recognise the full horror.
Terry should be reinstated as captain. He was kicked out because of a media witch hunt and not because of anything that had anything to do with football. Drug-related skullduggery does have something to do with football, although that's obviously a moot point now. Gerrard hasn't got the form, Rooney hasn't got the brains and nobody else, barring perhaps Lampard, can be sure enough of their spot to warrant getting the armband.
Genuinely gutted about Rio though, you can be pretty sure nobody in the world wants to play against a back four with him and John Terry in it
I just can't stand the thought of Terry leading the team. The only responsibility a football captain has is holding the mascot's hand and tossing the coin, but the less I see of that pisshole-in-the-snow-eyed fucker the better.
Ok, so Dawson is good enough to be part of a clean sheet against Man City (with Bellamy, Tevez, Adebayor etc. for whom Brazil starter Elano couldn't get a game), be part of a winning defence against Chelsea and Arsenal, but will be posed unanswerable problems by the USA, Slovenia and Algeria?
I'm not sure I'd be judging the standard of international class by looking at the septics. Unless you judge premiership quality as being Stoke City.
Ferdinand is seeking a second opinion, but a Football Association source has told the BBC "it's not looking good".
The FA is due to confirm the seriousness of Ferdinand's injury later in a statement.
Ferdinand emerged from hospital on crutches and Tottenham's Michael Dawson, who has been put on standby, could fly to South Africa in the next 12 hours if the Manchester United defender is definitely ruled out.
They're paid to kick a ball round a field not to be role models, leave the role model stuff to parents, teachers etc.So England replaced an adulterer with a drugs cheat and now end up with a violent thug as captain!!! Good to see that their captain is always such a good role model!

Capello sorted Terry. It's in the past now.
FFS, Dawson's not even first choice for Tottenham. Or second. And only just third.
Is that based on the idea that Woodgate might actually play again though?
BBC source.Capello has made experienced midfielder Frank Lampard his new vice-captain following Ferdinand's injury, and the Chelsea star said he feared for Ferdinand after seeing the incident at close quarters.
He's full of heart, seems a really good lad and has come on in leaps and bounds at Spurs this and last season. He's about where he should be in the England pecking order but I'd be very surprised if he let us down.

The point is he's not good enough for WC quarter and semi-Finals. And I'm not even sure Ledley is given the training restrictions his knee make to fitness levels and overall sharpness. Hopefully Dawson won't get a game.
Woodgate would be good enough though.
