I want to read this thread instead of doing work!

Better sort of time off work, transport etc. 'cited x lots :D

:D

Geoff wanted a break to dance and chat and do all the things I get to do at festivals. I'm fucking shitting myself. So pootle's gonna help.

dance?

ramble drunkenly at all and sundry you mean.

1 - don't show him up too much, he is still injured you know
2 - don't let him make you do all the work

(like I did to him last year :D)

oh, and
3 - play all the best tunes before he does :D

*also squeaks*

LOTS!

S'gonna to totally, totally ace hanging out with some of my favourite, and not yet hung out with favourite u75 types! :D

Are you in camp sensibubble aqua?

Will people please come and visit us in the family field? I'm worried I'm going to be sitting on my own with a load of sober vegans :(

trashy, I've got no idea where all the other camps are, so I'll be wondering round saying hello... I'll come visit you and might even do a spot of foal sitting if ya needs it ;)

it was teh vegans that made me laugh. you wont be on your own, you will have me for company loads.....thats a good thing though:p

We're going to try bringing along sheets, blankets and pillows to stick on our airbed in a feeble attempt to match the imperial majesty of TopCat's luxury tented abode. It might be a bit of a squeeze in our crappy little tent, but worth a go.

I might just bring a little tent this year, loads of hassle bringing the bigun. Then again I like my little comforts and it was nice to be able to make bacon sarnies for all and sundry on the Monday morn.:)

I'm more than capable of public transporting it to Endorse, but just wanted to check there wasn't the potential of a lift from anywhere in London, pref North but anywhere really.

Will of course give petrol money and be all quiet and not pester to sit in the front and play tapes etc ;)

Any top public transport tips from those who have done it - Salisbury is the nearest place I get a coach too, ain't it?

pootle - I will be in Devon next week so driving from there but can pick you up from a station. I can drive you back as far as Reading but not London. Sorry that's really crap but if you don't get any better offers :D

Aww! That's v kind of you trashy!

I was just about to post I'd come see you in the vegan field as you are one of those u75 types I haven't seen for ages and would like to hang out with

A cursory glance at the trains seem to suggest it's an hour and a half to Salisbury for just over £30 and 3hrs on the coach for just over £20 so either way it won't break the bank

and you can get a local bus to the very site itself. It's one of the easiest buses to get to on regular public transport IMO.

we'd offer a lift but we're full, sorry :(

I'm used to getting buses/trains everywhere, what with growing up in a non-car owning family.

I iz a resourceful/sturdy flump. I got a rucksac, airbed, TWO tents and a cool bag to the Glade on public transport and that was a HELLISH walk from the drop off point. I'm guessing/assuming Endorse It is MUCH smaller and not in a natural bowl?

And woo! Just seen that Los Albertos are playing. That's a total of 3 whole bands I'd want to see, along with Dreadzone and Blaggers ITA :D

I'll stop being excited and posting in this thread every 30 seconds or so, but am doing a rough budget in my head...I tend to eat one decent bought meal a day at festies, and can prob drink about 6 or 7 pints of booze in one day.

How much can I survive on per day at Endorse It? How much is a pint? :)
