ohh... finally get round to posting on this thread.

Nice little festival. Thanks to Topcat and his missus for supplying a lift, a large dry tent and some lovely conversation. EastEnder came into use by not moaning too much and supplying me with drugs and fags.

It was nice to meet a few people i hadn't met before and get to spent sometime with the ones I don't know so well.

Think the weekend was a case of having fun in spite of oneself at times. Was great to catch up with people, meet some fun new people and I did have some really good laughs, but at the same time, that sort of relentless miserable drizzle/cold does get me down, particularly without the various diversions you'd get somewhere larger. Comes from being a fairweather Aussie, I guess, which I freely confess to Fortunately getting trashed always tends to entertain me so just as well! Plus saw some fun ska bands and hung out with some lovely urbanites so all in all shouldn't moan...

Oh Gawd, I just remember asking Mark for a dance on sunday night, luckily it went no further. Had a great time, i think the miserableness of saturday made sunday such a laff. Our camping area remained dry and green throughout luckily. Highlight for me was that Dorset separatist group. "Imagine there's no Devon......." maybe or the Alabama's, their lady singer is amazing isn't she

We were sitting in the Thali cafe sunday watching Mark & Andy walk up the field. Andy with his hair stood back up, Mark rockin' the Fez and my friend who'd only just met them says
"aren't they lovely? look at them, they're just lovely"

a pause. Then,

"I bet they never get that said about them."

turns out we were wrong about that then.
