I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again, too.

It's one of the main reasons I'm going. It's been about three years since I saw some of you and, God, five years since my last Glastonbury or something.

I've seen Han and Blue Nun in the meantime but that's about it. It'll be nice to get pissed in a field with some people I've not seen in ages. :)

Yeah it is the double end which means you can get a through breeze and cool it down. Single ended ones can get a bit stifling.

We currently have one of these but after 3 years of 15 festivals and other camping trips various bits are failing (mainly the bag which is completely destroyed and is a real pain)

and have upgraded to Vango Beta 450:

Mainly because I really like the design, it goes up as one so no faffing, porch is great, nice and cool as opens both sides and, most importantly, it doesnt take up a huge amount of space (I hope - havent actually seen one up)

I just measured the site on google earth. The camping, Vans, Arena and Backstage would comfortably fit in Penards.

that looks like the tent me and shells have got although ours isn't a vango . It's the same colour as well !

and do you like it?

I've just done some measurements and this tent is HUGE! but then we need more space anyway. apparently you can store a bike in the porch!!!

(I think I may have inadvertantly bought a marquee )

it's a 3 person and there is no way a bike could fit in the porch so they aren't the same then !

yeah but, your definition of a bike fitting and their sales pitch is a bit different.

We've upgraded from a 3 person which fit us + bags to a 4 person.

We tend to gather extras, or boots or stuff because a few of the people we reg camp with dont have porches so use ours for storage.

and before Derv starts I'm not prepared to find out if a bike fits this weekend either!

The porch is a nice size on thisa one so a 4 person should be even better . It will be enough to store our stuff anyway we aren't cramped in the bedroom ( do tents have bedrooms ? )

the pop up is pretty small but my normal one has quite a big footprint (4 man + Porch/Lounge area). Was a right pain squeezing it in at Glasto.
