Love an end of year list, always pick up a load of stuff that way. The Quietus is just up and is always my favourite because I like pretentious obscurantism: The Quietus Albums of the Year 2024 (In Association with Norman Records)

Post other examples here along with your outrage they don't rate your favourite.

I was quite surprised to see the Clairo album so high up on the Quietus list - seems completely blah and MOR to my ears.

So was I, although I love it.

I was less surprised to see the Moin album, because it’s more their usual kinda thing, though pleased to see it so high. But really, it should be.
