Empty Jars - London area

Didn't know where to put this.. started off in the London forum but it looked wierd!

Anyway.. a few of us in the craft club will be making, or attempting to make jam on Sunday. Does anyone (especially in the Brixton or Ladbroke Grove area - for collection purposes) have any empty jars they can donate? If so it'd be really helpful. Especially anyone who is going to be seeing Eme, Innit or Toggle between now and then to avoid having to travel all over the place to pick em up!

My plan for getting empty jars to fuel my jam-making mania is to take an empty box down to our local glass recycling bins and leave it there with a note asking for empty jam jars to be deposited in the box to be reused.

I don't know if people would take any notice but it is worth a try.

going to have at least 10 from mrs M with lids and I have about 5 or 6 without lids... should be plenty to be going on with, no?

I may have a couple to add... we should be fine. If not I'm sure we'll be able to get some last minute in the area... it's right on the edge of the market..
