DVD Price - over £100

All mine were VHS, I bought a load of them when I was a student from charity shops along with vinyl and albums. Had it maybe three years then had to get rid of it. The BHF did very canny out it, HMV still sold VHS in those days.

Under its Chinese title Ju Dou there are reasonably priced US R1 DVDs available, but apparently the picture quality for this release is not very good.

Different picture on the front as well

Can't remember how much I paid for mine, but probably under £15. Shame Amazon doesn't list the price you paid when you look at your history, only the price it is now.

It would be as it's a different release. Doesn't matter though as long as it's the same film

There also is the French release which according to Amazon.fr has English subtitles and which isn't too expensive:

Postage tends to be around £5 from France.

Oh, I know that, and I'm not after it as I already have it. Was just wondering why they're priced so high and why different releases all have different prices as well (unless of course they've got extras on them)

i sold a private sealed copy of an out of print luxury anime collection (neon genesis) i worked on 4 years ago for £399 last autumn - got my christmas budget sorted. out of stock collector's items can occasionally command a lot of dosh.
