Does anyone remember a TV series from the late 60s where a man goes for walks with his talking house and dustbin.

I definitely remember a programme along those lines, but can't recall the name and can't find anything on Google. There might have been an articulate garage as well as, or instead of the bin

I wasn't when I was six! I think it was animation or what passed for animation on those crudely made British-made TV programmes in the olden days. It wasn't Jackanoryesque, though.

I can just about go with the the idea of a talking house. But you wouldn't walk with one, surely. If you're going for pure fantasy, a flying house or the like would be much better than such a -- well, pedestrian image.

The only thing with a walking house I know was this 90s animated series for MTVs Liquid Television by the comic artist Mark Beyer.

Well, the house in Reno's clip goes for walks. It also takes planes and commits crimes. I retract everything I've said.
