Does anyone on here know any Cardiff ghost stories or legends? Anything about pubs or places that are reputedly haunted? Or anyone had a spooky experience anywhere?

I'm doing a little research and would like to hear any spooky encounters anyone has had ... or urban legends about their local areas ...

Try the local tourist office, or the local library. Local history societies often have booklets (or even hardbacks) full of local folklore and legends.

Local papers archive was a great idea, thanks! Got so much from that. Also, I asked my friend to post on the Cardiff Before Cardiff Facebook page - so many responses! There's a lot of spooky stuff happening in Cardiff, apparently ...

Thanks everyone! This is the result of all my investigations ... a radio program about a ghost hunt in Cardiff ... was broadcast on Radio Cardiff last Friday and broke their servers halfway through ... ghosts in the system?
