One of my escapees led me a 2month chase around Cambridgeshire. 3 separate temporary homes, a spell on my allotment, and a stay in the local pub. It was a pair we were looking after for the Ag.college...and when youngest had to return after the holiday, minus a ferret, his name was complete shit. We had the last laugh when the ferret (who was an unneutered male) was finally reunited with us after intense ferret detective work,, looking thinner, but surprisingly fit and sleek. Tas marched triumphantly into the college ...which had since replaced the missing ferret...and we were asked if we wanted to keep it. So we did. We had a lot of fun, lamping on the fen.I've always wanted ferrets - lovely little beasts and clearly don't give a shit about humans.
