Help Deleted everything by mistake.

My friend was giving her old Mac book to another friend and deleted all the data from it. She seems to have accidentally deleted the data from her new Mac book too.
How can she retrieve it?

If you use Time Machine to back up your Mac, use Time Machine with Spotlight to recover lost or deleted items.
