That was my first thought; to get a photo of my dad. I know it would be a terrible idea.

I dunno if it was just the particular photo or just cos it’s my mum, but it was disturbing - it didn’t look like the others I’ve seen. Only part of her face moved and it looked like she was grimacing. So my advice is don’t. Certainly not worth giving your email to Big Data for

Yeah I did briefly consider a photo of my Nan but then (thankfully) came to my senses and realised it was more likely to be disturbing or upsetting than any sort of comfort.

They can have as many of my email addresses as they like; I've got dozens of them. All created purely for the purpose of feeding into stupid web sites that think email addresses are in some way valuable.

Anyone had a go on this? https://www.myheritage.com/deep-nostalgia Upload a photo and it animates it into a short video of their face moving. Pretty freaky. You need to sign up to use it but can use a facebook login. Here's one I did, Robert Cornelius brought back to life.
