My immediate thoughts are "guilty or not, what the heck was the guy doing acting for Berlusconi in the first place? He was very right wing, was he not? I do realise that husbands and wives can have different political views quite often, but not Socialist would touch Berlusconi with a barge pole, and they can't have needed the money unless they were living way beyond their means.

Really? How many more have been denied a decent eduction/health access due to her governments attack to the welfare state? What about the "hostile environment" towards immigrants that she and her colleagues created?

I think it's somewhat coloured by the general lack of talent in the House these days. She was never on my list of Favourite People, and her loyalty to her master was all out of proportion to his actual abilities. But when you look at the tosspots running the country now, you at least think "Well, she was competent." Plus did a genuine good job with the Olympic bid and got a lot of press kudos for it.
