Want to see a bit more from Shurle this season and would like to see Kala play more and develop . Van Ginkle will be back

On another note we have loads of players who are out on loan who showed real promise Piazon was my tip for the future, Zouma a young centre back who was tipped for the French squad, Chabollah for example.

Edit: Kala is being loaned to FC Cologne for a season.also didn't even know that Omerou who is in the Nigerian squad is one if our players lol

I saw Omerou’s name mentioned and thought i’ve heard of him somewhere  sad really. Not half as sad as a rumour flying round West Bromwich at the moment that Super Frank is about to sign for them pmsl

Too much hospitality can do that to a man. :(

I think its odds on that he will go to the States

Thats great news.
On the striker front Lukaku was awesome for Belgium against USA, i wonder if we will let him go now? I would love to see him stay, he gave the Belgians a whole new look, an aggressive fast breaking look that finally broke USA down.
How many times did we need that last season (Palace Norwich etc etc).

Costa should slot in niceley, Schurlle also should improve in time. Looking good for a few trophies. KTBFFH.

Against a tiring USA Lukaku looked fantastic but his previous games in this tournament have been poor, I hope he stays though as I think he has the potential to be great.

Burnley opener moved back to 8.00 pm Monday 18th Aug for Sky Sports.
Like we havent waited long enough for the season to start by then :( another cracking Saturday afternoon atmosphere ruined.

Here's the rest of the list so far. Personally i hate 12.45pm kick offs because if you lose your whole day is ruined, luckily ours is at Anfield where Stevie G normally 'slips' in to help us :)

Everton v Chelsea Sat 30th Aug 5.30 Sky
Man City v Chelsea Sun 21st Aug 4.00 Sky
Chelsea v Arsenal Sun 5th Oct 4.00 Sky
Man Utd v Chelsea Sun 26th Oct 4.00 Sky
Liverpool v Chelsea Sat 8th Nov 12.45 BT
Sunderland v Chelsea Sat 29th Nov 5.30 Sky

Is Torres staying?

We've been trying to shift him but nobody wants to pay his wages. You lot can have him back if you like.

Drogba as a player/coach would be ace. Just having him around would give the place a lift. And he can play a bit too.

Don't rate Lukaku at all. Terrible first touch , haphazard in defending and dodgy positional sense. He is powerful and athletic and has some real quality finishing but I don't get the sense that he will improve to he level we require . In Costa we have the same power and athleticism but better and I expect that Shurlle could do really well this season as well.

Was very excited about the possibility if a Paul Pogba move but that seems to be more speculation than fact?

I wonder step (or hope more like) if the Drogba coach/ player talk is related to improving Lukakus overall skills. Drogba would be a great mentor. I do agree with the shortfalls you've mentioned but imagine the improvements under Drogbas coaching;)
I still like Lukaku, his blood and thunder style can stop the rot in games, he ruined Fergies leaving do with such a display for the Baggies. I just worry that he doesn't fit Josés style and he hasn't exactly endeared himself to the club or its fans but he is a young man and can turn it round.
Schurrles performances in the world cup were definitely encouraging.

Very brave words from Ashley Cole about the problems with English football...
English players are probably scared to come abroad, said Cole. They are in a comfort zone in England, that’s where we grew up, that’s where we played in youth teams.

Fair play to the lad, he is a hero to all young English players. I hope his stern words will turn around the way English footballers plan their future careers and follow his shining example

So true Badgers. 107 caps for his country, countless trophies, he stood up to the Ferdinand thugs and has managed to blank bucketloads of tabloid nonsense.
All this and he's never felt the urge to bite anyone;)

Ivan will feature regular in that back four as he can cover any of the positions. So glad that when we hear Luis' name we won't be worried about glaring gaps in our defence.
