It is a jolly good pub , had a few ales in there last night , gets crowded quickly as it is little, enjoyed our ales , good atmosphere in there.
Went to McGlynns after, ran into a certain Norwegian Urb.I would have joined you if I had known. Was in the Parcel Yard in Kings Cross station.

'Unassuming local treasure': One-room Kings Cross pub listed as asset of community value
A wood panelled one-room boozer in Kings Cross has been listed as an asset of community value.www.islingtongazette.co.uk
From the picture Dean might be behind the bar. A real local (less than a 100 yards) who was/is a black cabbie. I really miss the community feel of that pub probably what I miss most about living in London. It really was like a large front room pretending to be a pub except on Fridays when it got busy. That is great news ! Must pop in there again, I'm in the area more now.

Legendary pub where punters drink for free and one regular rides penny farthing

Doubt they are still giving away the free drinks though.Saw that! Must pop in again, I work fairly near there.
Probably a 15 minute walk from Euston, you'll need it to be a long train wait .I'll have to check it out. When I've got time to wait for a train I usually head to The Rocket by Euston which is an unofficial RMT watering hole. Used to be cheap but pretty much £6 a pint nowadays.
