I've never decorated in my pyjamas, but I once managed to get white emulsion onto a contact lens twice in a row. Was painting the ceiling as normal and a drop of paint landed right in the centre of one lens. I replaced the lens (disposal daily ones) only to do the exact same thing a few minutes later.

I made sure I wasn't looking directly up at the ceiling after that...
