Any suggestions? Argos delivery date is 2 weeks. Morley's is 5 weeks  After a double divan (airsprung) but doesn't seem to be much around.

I've heard there's a shop in Atlantic Road(?) Any other suggestions for people who do quick delivery?

Cheers :)

Hi Minnie, think you might have to try further afield - did you find Morley's beds were a bit pricey in comparison to other places? There's not a great deal of choice (that I know of) bed-wise in Brixton. Erm... :D Y'all know what I mean.

Got my bed a good few years ago now at Warren Evans (from their cheaper range but still v.good as I have a duff back). One of their 'aims' is to deliver when they say they will - but you would have to ask how long that would be. They've got a new shop in Clapham Junction now too

There were two independent bed shops in Streatham High Road, Beaumont Beds (Astoria Parade? next to Odeon), and Streatham Bed Company (behind newsagent on corner of Prentis Rd?) which both used to deliver for free in a matter of days rather than weeks.

EVERYTHING in Morley's is expensive, although they do have a good choice of duvets and cheap pillows :)

The beds weren't that great for the price, considering I was looking for ones with drawers.

Will have a look at that place, but it looks like my friend's going to have to go into , Thornton Heath, Croydon or Crystal Palace as he's moving that way.

Thanks anyway ;)

Have you tried the Classic Bed Company in Herne Hill (on Norwood Road). I've just bought a bed from there and it's being delivered tomorrow. They're not super-cheap, but good quality, and they've got some amazing deals on matresses.

Go to place on Streatham Hgh St, opposite bus garage, got some exeedingly fantastic beds for around £125-150 - seen the same ones in "bedreams" for 300 mark... I reckon this shop is an ultimate SW2 bargain....( got one 3 months ago, best sleeps of my lifetime.....)

Lots of beds in Atlantic Rd Furniture - except that's not there anymore. What about CarpetRight up Brixton Hill - do they have beds?

Stopped stocking beds as did shop opposite George Canning.

No worries, he managed to get one in East Street/Walworth Road who delivered in 3 hours! :D

Thanks for info though :)

If I remember correctly, there's a cheap (second-hand?) place in Camberwell, between Denmark Hill and the Green.
