Thanks for mentioning folklore rising, I'll have a look. Look at Ronald Hutton for the English ritual year, London lore by Steve roud and the lore of the land by Westwood and simpson. Also have a look at the folklore society website. You might like hutton's triumph of the moon too. There's a fuckton of books on British folklore and the bibliographies of the books I've mentioned will give you a lifetime's reading.
