Boiler Room

There was some talk on another thread about starting one of these for highlighting the good BR sets, but nothing got done. So here you go.

I've just listened to this techno set and really enjoyed it:

last night i listened to Guy Called Gerald Live on bits of kit (hopefully not just pressing play on tracks on his laptop)
excellent stuff

as ever look away and hit play

i am surprised that Gerald moved over to such plodding along techno though - he used to be so funky. I guess thats what berlin does to you... I still like the music though

Have I ever mentioned the DJ EZ ones?!...
Is there more than one? also the noodles garage set is spot on - from the same evening?

Missed this 3hr+ set by EZ:

excellent set and proper club vibe too
blows the roof off at 26.30mins!
42mins 30 <<<madness!!
great set
ETA: im in awe of this mix - not sure if ive ever seen as good a technical dj set as this

theres another just 1hr one out there too

At SXSW boiler room did a stage with ray ban, its not the best audio quality or video, but if you like the band its a good watch

Death Grips

^^^that mr G is my kind of dancer  (great tunes too) do you know anything else about him?
proves the point why standing behind the decks, top short button done up and barely twitching doesnt make for great djing vibes

He used to be in The Advent with Cisco Fereirra and was part of the KCC crew who always have a system at Notting Hill.
He's a bit of a gear fetishist and records everything in mono cos having stereo sound in most clubs is kinda pointless.
