Ah, that's sad. Great actor, who picked good, varied roles. Yosser's Story is still brilliant; the scene with Graeme Souness always sticks in my mind - Souness looks genuinely perturbed by Bernard Hill in character.

Obviously he'll be rightly remembered as Yosser but he had such range as an actor. He was wonderful in Jack Rosenthal's The Chain, which couldn't have been furthered removed from Boys From The Blackstuff.
