I've just posted in the comments bit of the Walworth Society page that ricbake linked to above.

Will be lobbying Southwark Coundil very very soon as well .....

I hope the local CAMRA branch has been publicising this and getting involved -- all the wording to do with 'Asset of Community Value' on that Walworth Society page looks very much like the angle we in Swansea CAMRA have used in occasional pub-protection efforts that we do.

After all, CAMRA isn't just about quality ale , hugely important thhough that is
I scarcely remember The Beehive serving an off pint in seventeen years, and I was there insanely frequently as is well known!!
As locals go, there's few better ....

Just look out for revised applications from the developers, such outfits are usually unpleasantly persistent.
