Beating newspaper paywalls

I've been using 'Bypass Paywalls' on chrome, it was working well with The Times, but they seem to have broken it, as I can not read articles any more.

Would people like to share the best ways of beating paywalls? Especially the Times one, which I can't find a way around.

I've just discovered how to bypass the FT one. You install this Chrome add-on https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/user-agent-switcher-for-c/djflhoibgkdhkhhcedjiklpkjnoahfm, then you select Googlebot as your user agent. I think this works for many other paywalls, including the Economist. It makes Chrome behave differently, but it only takes a second to switch back to the default user agent when you have finished reading the FT or whatever.

Does anyone know of an extension that gets past The Time (UK)?

Sorry David Clapson didn't see your subsequent posts until after I'd posted (above).

I'm trying to get at an article about Binance customers getting ripped off if anyone has the text.

The iamadamdev extension no longer works with The Times/Sunday Times. There's a discussion about it on the developer's page The Times (thetimes.co.uk) is not working · Issue #1201 · iamadamdev/bypass-paywalls-chrome As you can see, the people at The Times are doing something to defeat the paywall beater, and no solution has yet been found.

What's the title of the article you want? Sometimes if you google the title you can find a copy of the article on another site, or in the Google cache of that site.

It's called
TSB bans cryptocurrency amid fraud concerns with Binance and Kraken

I've read a few other accessible articles that refer to that article so I think I have the gist of it now anyway
TSB bans cryptocurrency amid fraud concerns with Binance and Kraken. "The bank is particularly concerned about Binance" : btc (reddit.com)

Cheers for the tip

I'm new to this thread, and sense from the most recent threads that different dodges become ineffective eventually.

Basically I want to be able to read Le Monde articles in full, using Firefox. If it works for any other sites, in English or French, all the better.

Just checked Le Monde with the 'bypass paywall' add-on for chrome, and it seems to work, so I assume their firefox version will work as well.

I have a Readly subscription which gives me access to most daily papers and all past issues. It's not the online editions, the actual printed ones. Costs me £7.99/month but considering the cost of papers like The Guardian and Observer, it's paid for itself in a week. Hundreds of magazines available too with all their back copies. Brilliant on the big iPad.

Also works really well scrolling the pages on a big monitor when logging in to the web viewer
