Authors you own the most books by?

Pratchett, and Iain M Banks. Then Len Deighton, and probably Bill Bryson, thanks to family detecting a rich seam of Christmas/birthday opportunities and mining it to destruction :)

Adam Roberts - 21
Terry Pratchett - 20
China Miéville - 15
Michael Moorcock - 14
Iain (M) Banks - 13
George Orwell - 12
Kim Stanley Robinson - 8

I haven't read a fair chunk of the Pratchett and Moorcock books as I've bought collections of them that I'm working my way through. The others are absolute favourites though.

Rankin or Tolkien.

Previously it would have been Dexter, but I had a bit of a clear out - not read a Morse book in years.

Bryson could be a contender - actually JK Rowling could the winner, one always forgets Harry Potter...

Palmed the Rowling off onto my daughter.

She rejected the Compton and Buckeridge though :( so they're back on my shelves.

Also have loads of bill bryson because for some reason my mum thinks I like them (she had that made in america one years ago and I said I quite enjoyed it which I did tbf but it's mainly about language and not him being a boring twat going for walks and stuff, now I get one every other christmas)

I got rid of physical books a while back, but Moorcock was the runaway leader 30+.

Loads by railway photographers like John Vaughan and Brian Morrison but I suppose they don't really count.

There's a German railway writer called Konrad Koschinski that I have a lot of books of.

Other than that, have most of George Orwell's non-fiction, plus 1984, which I was just revisiting the other day, funnily enough, and I appear to buy everything Jon Ronson produces. I just find his stuff fascinating, sometimes disturbing and frequently very funny, plus I like the way he doesn't try to hide his flaws and foibles.

All physical books. Not interested in digital and never will be.

I love Kapuscinski. I keep giving/lending them to people though. I dont know how many copies of Shadow of the Sun I must have got through :(
