Amazing game in many ways, vast, immersive, exciting, looks pretty good,

But those mercenaries, following you everywhere, having to fight them when you just want to admire the view or pursue the mission, i just don't like games with that level of jerpardy.

Wish there was a way of deleting them from the game.

Can you not just watch someone else playing it on YouTube? It would be like being a passenger in a car. You get to see a lot more of the scenery.

You can pay off the bounty on you or kill the person who put the bounty on you to get rid of the mercenaries.

Apart from in Arkadia, I think, when you have just got to try to finish certain mission/s. It's hard but doable (I've just done it)

even worse now, can't seem to level up after kefalonia, go to other islands and all the enemies have the skull above them and destroy me.

If all the enemies have a higher level than you, then you need to travel to a different area. Zoom out of the map and you should be able to see which places have similar levels to you.
