Are there any kittens about?

If this isn't allowed then erm, sorry, but I think it is :hmm:

I know a lot of cats have litters at this time of year. If you know one, can you let me know?

This will be of no help to you whatsoever, but when I took my cat to the vets last week, there was a woman in there with four adorable tiny kittens in a cage. I think they were Bengals, three were grey tabby and one white. They were all mewing and climbing all over each other. I so wanted the white one!

Actually I've just remembered that I joined a cat forum last week. I could see if anyone has any in your area?

Noooooo Bengals are so beautiful! Curses :(

Is it definitely a kitten you want or would you consider something slightly older? It might be best if you have a look at the website yourself, there are loads on there!

Everyone I know who's got an older cat has had real problems, from them not being socialised enough to real behaviour problems to actually being feral . I think it's really noble to take on a rescued or unwanted animal, but I can't :(

The kittens I've looked at (they aren't allowed to go home until after they've had their vaccinations at 12 weeks, and I didn't want to put a deposit down and I think they'll all get allocated homes pretty quickly) come from domestic cats rather than breeders though, so I don't feel too bad.

Also Pip, as you are in a flat with no access to outside a kitten will be better I think. I wouldn't get anything other than a bog-standard moggy kitten either as pedigree cats can have health problems. Get one via your ex-boyfriend. me and Blind Lemon will get it for your birthday. We know you've wanted a cat for ages.

FINISH DECORATING FIRST!

You can get kittens from rescue centres - that's where I got mine from and they were 8 weeks (I went to visit them obsessively from the time they were about 5 weeks )

Have a look on catchat

Not from Battersea you can't. Not unless you have no children, a palatial mansion including a specific cat chill out area, 7 acres of land and can feed them fresh salmon every day or something.
Them Battersea cats like posh, apparently. :(

you can have my cat - she's doing my head in - the bitch can find a new home - i get nothing out of this relationship, nothing!

Celia Hammond give you ferals and don't tell you. I mean she's great and all that, especially with the neutering service, but she's keen to offload the adult ferals.

Really? That seems a bit short signed. I got mine from the Cats Protection League and lived in a top floor flat at the time.
