Well. we'll try and up our game sweets ;)

ta la :D
woop!

I have been kicking the shite out of soulseek lately and making it crash and burn by searching for 'mexican' and 'mariachi'!!

So this is excellent - ta very much

Interestingly, I heard that Beck track on Lamarr tother week, and was nagging my mate (so-called Beck fanatic) for a copy of it. He hadn't heard of it - so I did a lil research on it, and it's actually Jack Ass innit, 'cept done in Spanish, with mariachi

clever fucker :D

you could have put some Mariachi Guerrilla on this though. *churlish*

dammit, I was counting on you to be the only person pleased it had El Paso on it

I've not even heard it myself yet....

I think you'll find that everyone who hears El Paso will be struck by its overwhelming romantic genius

Who couldn't love a line like 'I caught a good one, it looked like it could run'? :D

I've only just found Randy & Earl

I knew (nearly) all the words to El Paso - sing along time
What diverse tastes you have soj !

I have me dad to thank for the Marty Robbins love, yardy - he was a wannabe cowboy who obsessed over Marty, and I kinda picked up the bug somewhere along the line :) It also used to be the last song played by Paddy the dj in Geraldos, our local rock/biker club, of a Saturday night, and we all used to waltz drunkenly round the dancefloor to it when I was a teen

ahhhh, happy days, when whiskey was 60p a double and tasted great in a pint of 50p bitter :cool:

anyway - get stuck into all the Randy and Earl - there's some absolute corkers

Randy & Earl ride out (again)

we've been fairly busy of late, mostly in between live bands but tomorrow night - sat 22 it'll just be us, and just vinyl records too. so that ought to be entertaining :D after playing the camden crawl a week or two back we're back up in the weird desolate wasteland that is 'north of the river' so if any of you live up there bring yourselves on to see us - it's free, nice pub apparently read our blurb here
and here's a pretty cool flyer for the venue

If anyone's pining for a Randy & Earl mix, they could do a lot worse than download all of Bro Randy's alter ego Stagger Lee's podcasts. Excellent eclectic mixes and a new one every week. Get them here. They've been the sound of my kitchen for weeks now

It's yer lucky day friends!
