I love gadgets. I have more electronics in my house than anyone could possibly imagine, but they have to actually do something worthwhile before I'll buy them. For all the good it is, this might as well be an empty fag packet with a couple of LEDs glued to it (and a smiley face drawn on it to make it look cute), and once the manufacturer switches off the server, it'll probably be a paperweight.

I do sometimes wonder whether the global security agencies are secretly behind all this type of stuff though, including the alexa and google spyware. For them its almost too good to be true - proper big brother stuff.
