I totally love this programme, i have learnt a lot from it, they blow stuff up and do stoopid shit so we dont have too. It also helps that Kari Byron is on the show:oops:

I found myself watching it just to see more of her. She's right up my alley. I have a thing for female artists. There was a rumor about her being pregnant and from the looks of her on a show I saw it really really looked like she had a stomach.
 
I love it....it's brilliant. I now know I can piss on electrifided tracks and not die and that a sinking boat won't pull me under to the bottom of the ocean :D

She is preeety fine, gorgeous, clever, funny and nerdy.

her tummy was another reason to like her.:)

I have learnt tons, like how to make a jet pack from water and soda bottles, that you cant severe a spine from a snapped steel cable:D
 
The GF and I spend most programmes discussing whether one, both or none of the two main blokes are gay.

Still haven't made our minds up. :D
 
I'd always thought it was Hollywood bollocks but I was amazed to find out, thanks to Mythbusters, that being just 3 feet underwater will save you from any bullets shot at you. Very interesting episode, that.

Nah i think they are both hetro, i know they are both married (not that means much i know). I love it when Adam prances round like a tit and jamie just stands there looking bushy tashed and grumply:)
 
One thing about the show is the natural chemistry amongst the cast. Adam and Jamie do tend to be competitive and I've wondered how they all get along off camera. When the newcomers were added I was determined not to like them. But they really do a good job, especially Imahara. He's first class.

Or at least it seems they've got chemistry.

Ahhh Grant the Geek, he is so sweet and nerdy i love him and his knashers are quite bad for an American on TV (they dove tail). I have a funny feeling that Jamie and Adam get on the same in real life, its the straight man and the doofus thing.

I have a bit of a crush on Tory as well, and when you see the models he has made its really rather impressive.


I SOOOO Want to be a Mythbuster - i could do jam based myths.
 
I think I've watched every episode, really smart blokes and woman. They even made semi-flyable planes out of concrete, how :cool: is that.

Highly watchable and entertaining, like the ones featuring guns, catapults, flamethrowers, etc especially. The "Would ducking under water save you from being shot?" one being a fave, liked how they nervously went up through the calibres fearful of making a hole in the swimming pool. As T&P pointed out 3ft of water will save you from even a .50 cal. Of course that does bring into question some of the opening scene from "Saving Private Ryan"...

Its ok... They have interesting questions which they put to the test. Pity the presenters are incredibly annoying and so I can't watch more than 5 mins at time... :mad:

Brainiac: Science Abuse is much better, and answers more interesting questions... :D
