That persona is born of mental health problems and drug addiction so deserves a blie i think...Robin Williams. (Apart from One Hour Photo which I watched accidentally and found him to be quite convincing.) But I never could stand his 100 mph wacky fucker persona.")

Tim Spall. I hugely rate him. I think he's just slips so effortlessly into every one of his roles, he looks like he's not trying. That persona is born of mental health problems and drug addiction so deserves a blie i think...
I've got a couple...Johnny Depp puts me off films I might have seen otherwise, though he does okay as the pirate, though that's pantomime really....
The other is.... Argh I forgot his name... He's been in mike Leigh films, the Harry potter films and recently played Turner in the biopic... Feel like a traitor as he's from my corner of south east London, but I think he's pretty unconvincing in everything he does. Overrated...

Ricky Gervais. As an atheist and animal lover he's immensely good but on screen he's just awful for me.
yeah he doesnt try ... hes just a face rather than an actor IMO...slighlty harsh, but he doesnt do it for me. I liked the bbc4 series about him and his wife driving their barge around the coast. he was good in thatTim Spall. I hugely rate him. Bill Nighly - I saw him on a fringe show about 18 years ago and thought "wow, he's amazing."
Since he got into big movie productions, I've come to realise that he acts the same and now just annoys the fuck out of me.
Stephen Fry - funny on panel shows, shit on film.
Helena Bonham Carter.
Was going to say Danny Dyer, but I don't think he's been in anything remotely good, so it's not usually a problem
in WIll & Grace...shuddere.g. John Cleese. Also, for the last 4 decades, shit as a comedian.
DaveCinzano who's the enormous pic man?
Simon fucking Phillips. He's the twat from the White Collar Hooligan movies, those 'Jack' films, and the rubbish He Who Dares wannabe action franchise. I started watching UFO, which seemed like a pleasantly mindless low budget SF/disaster flick. Except Phillips' gurning fizzog shows up within minutes, and I realise I've been mugged off, and I have to shut that shit down, like IMMEDIATELY. He's basically the British Uwe Boll, and not in a good way, and he compounds the problem by appearing in front of the camera too
