A film for every day of the year

Can we name a film for every day of the year, in order? Or to put it another way, for every day of the year can we think of a film which features a scene that takes place on that day?

Three rules. Sort of rules.

1. No montage sequences that cover loads of days unless there's a really good reason. For example I would not let in that bit in Notting Hill when an entire year passes while Hugh Grant is walking down the road.

2. Ideally no film will be used more than once.

3. Ideally only films you've heard of before.


I'll start with 1st January: The Godfather Part II. That bit when they're in Cuba just after midnight on New Year's Eve.

I hope you are allowing Google searches for this quest, and ideally that we can nominate films covering days of the year in random order, rather than having to wait for the next fucker to come up with a film for January 2nd and so on.

With that in mind, I claim 2 February with Groundhog Day :cool:

Surely The Poseidon Adventure is the classic NYE/NYD film.

24th March - detention day in The Breakfast Club.

11th May - Henry Hill's bad day in Goodfellas.

16th July - Walter Neff records his confession that makes up the plot of Double Indemnity.

5th August - all kicks off in Do the Right Thing

29th August - Skynet launches the nuclear war in the Terminator films.

31st October - Halloween

24th December- terrorists take over the Nakatomi Plaza in Die Hard.
 
NYD should be Rocky vs Apollo Creed fight in first Rocky movie.

You're going to struggle to finish the first week of January tbh.
 
15th April - Oiceberg, roight ahead! in Titanic

5th June - Ferris Bueller takes a day off.

2nd December - Ilsa Lund walks into Rick's cafe in Casablanca.
