There's been a Brixton Tube Yard kitten thread before...probably feral cats a-go-go there....

The only one that I really noticed was the albert kitty thread.

toggle grins at cute brixton kitty sitting in her hallway.

Certainly is!

Abandoned kittens restore your faith in human kindness though. Heard the squeals out of the kitchen window and then saw them so we went round to the tube station to see if they'd let us in the yard. Went up to the barriers to see stoney faced tube lady with a policewoman and man. Asked if the station manager was around and were told yes but they're very busy so we said "we've seen some abandoned kittens in the yard" and instantly the lady and policewoman went "aww" :) and let us through the barrier.

Went up to the window to be met by another stoney faced woman at the window and told her story and she instantly goes "aww" and calls up one of the cleaners to let us through :D

We also got a walk through the arcade between the high street and Electric Lane and it's massive and can't be too far away from opening.

Anyway - they are now fed (tiny bit of chicken on vets orders) and watered and tucked up in abox by the radiator in our kitchen till the morning. :)

Some pics may appear if memespring's computer behaves.

If there is a feral colony you should seriously consider asking your local car welfare organisation to trap, neuter and then release the cats back into the yard. Otherwise you'll be collecting abandoned kittens for years.

Nice one.
Well done. :)

Thanks for the numbers all. I safely delivered them to the vets in Herne Hill this morning and they are going to check them over and then pass them on to the RSPCA for rehoming. They will make some lucky person v happy :)
