13th Century King Arthur manuscript found in Bristol library.

EXPLODED TIM! (Help me!!!)
Apparently, somebody just came across it whilst looking for something else. It's in fragments but fairly substantial ones - enough material to fill 20 pages of a modern paperback. It varies in crucial details from existing texts. Apart from anything it surprises me that stuff like this can still be discovered in a city centre library

It's pretty cool. My central city library has loads of archived old books stashed away from the public. I've been waiting to get a tour there for ages - there are things like medieval property deeds n shit apparently. A lot of the backroom space used to be a police station and there are still loads of records kept there.
