    "You're just not worth it."

Why would it mean that? They aren't going to do any such thing, all they are going to do is continue to behave like the Tories but without being quite as obvious about their attitudes as Freud, meaningless stunts like this give them cover to do that while saying that they support the disabled.

    "You're just not worth it."

not sure how this will go, the Independent came out basically in support of Freud last week, but good on them, but it also must mean they will now have to draw a line under their previous 'reforms' shutting Remploy, Atos, etc,

Atos Medicals - Questions, Answers and Support

Yup. My last one was ATOS-recorded, with no operator other than the assessor.

Atos Medicals - Questions, Answers and Support

Yep - be prepared to beat them at their own game, at least when it comes to paperwork. No need to lie or square up to 'em - just be firm, quiet, and politely sure of what you'll tolerate. ;)

Atos Medicals - Questions, Answers and Support

...cock-up, it was the fault of their regional centre at Wembley. Excuses about shoddy corrupt databases were made (believable, given the shite patchwork of IT kit Atos use), apologies offered, and a new appt with recording eqpt and operator present was promised. I'll believe it when I see it...

    Automated Tube Trains? Poll

This is a very important point, and to expand on it and the one made by Puddy_Tat above, operators on the Victoria line where ATO currently operates have to be trained to the same level, and are paid at the same rate, as operators on the rest of the system who do still drive the trains. A huge...

ESA50 evidence letter from mental health services.

...nurse, and it wasnt put on my letter, that if I cite regulation 29 on the next form, as it has not been acknowledged by the mh nurse, the DWP/Atos will ignore my citation. I am absolutely gutted that I did not mention my inwardly turned rage to the mental health nurse, and that it is not on...

    The Islamic state

Whey, if your eyeing up the possibilities of becoming the new ME superpower and re- establishing your empire then mebbes having an attack dog like IS is a tempting idea and having an excuse to leave NATO thus reinforcing your distaste for 'western values' far fetched? Not these days!

    The Islamic state

from what i hear from friends in Brussels, that is already happening - nothing official, just stuff no longer going through the standard NATO channels that would normally go to all members, but instead its being done bilaterally on a 'people we trust' basis. the ATO for example - being done by...

    Driverless trains on the Tube?

Aye, my post was rather crude I must say. I didn't mean to paint the drivers as drones. I for one hope that they stay in control.

    Driverless trains on the Tube?

That's true, but it's not the whole story. What the driver (strictly speaking the operator) normally does is open and close the doors, then presses a switch which allows the train to be driven by computer to the next station (the DLR is similar, except that the operator isn't sat in a cab at the...
