Saw the finale last night. Read a few reviews saying this series has been a total mess,but I quite liked it, not their best but I did think it had its moments.-the linkage with Asylum through Pepper's story springs to mind as an outstanding episode, though I was disappointed that Lily Rabe was only in that one episode. Also some good wtf moments like when Penny 's father gets her face tattooed and the episode when Maggie is sawn in half by the crazed ventriloquist .
Looking forward to the next season already!

Just finished it last night. Least favourite of the seasons so far. That said, Lange was brilliant as ever and Twisty the clown was unnerving.
But Dandy wasn't terrifying at all, just kind of annoying. Best bit was the Pepper episode written by James Wong.

My advice would be to stop there. I have been a huge fan of AHS but sadly, the law of diminishing returns sets in in earnest after Freakshow.

Hotel was diverting at times and I only managed half of Roanoke.
