What I do
Since 1995, I have been specialising in multimedia and the web, heading up award-winning projects for a selection of UK and international clients. I have worked extensively in the US, working as creative director for New York-based community site, zoggle.com, while UK credits include major sites for the British Council and NCR.

With over seven years experience of building websites, I can help plan, build and promote a site from scratch, design online and offline branding, optimise existing sites for usability and accessibility, increase search engine rankings and raise traffic levels.

In 1999, 2000 and 2002 I've been featured in Internet Magazine's list of the '50 most influential people in the UK web industry' and my personal site, urban75, has been described as "probably the finest and best-designed independent site in Britain" (Daily Telegraph).

How I work
If you're after a page full of useless spinning widgets, pointless splash screens and impenetrable Flash interfaces, I'm not your man. I aim to build fast-loading, well-designed, great looking websites that do the job effectively and efficiently, using the appropriate technology with the focus firmly on the user.

The team
I use a highly talented team of freelance experts as and when needed, offering a highly flexible, lean and task-centred solution to site building.

Update Sept 2011:
As you may have noticed, my folio hasn't been updated for getting on a decade - I've simply been too busy working!

I'm now carrying on with my no-bullshit, get-on-with-it approach to web work, but working more in the fields of web consultancy, social media strategies (Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare etc), search engine optimisation and general website implementation.
