Seasons started up again then.
Our season tickets have an actual named seat this year, hopefully an indicator of increased attendances after the World Cup.
Promising start on the pitch too. I missed the first half (on the FA Player), but the second was a cracker. Blades well on top but couldn’t get that final ball in, not until an excellent shot from Bex Rayner right on ninety minutes. Looking good for Sunderland’s visit next Sunday.
Great start for Southampton too, 4-1 away to Lewes makes them look reet dangerous.
It’s the end of September before Week 1 of the WSL, although Weeks 2 and 3 come first. Obviously.
