Saw that on the bews yesterday.
It is obviously a fossilised heart

What IS really interesting is that it is our ancestor...the Gogo fish.
Its what humans evolved from.

I rather liked the computer animation of the little gogo fish with its stumpy fins (that became our limbs) and its rather blocky head.
