Women's World Cup 2019

What, if any, are the differences between the men's and women's game?

Can't say I've noticed too many, but then I'm not much of a student of the technicalities of the game.
Based just on this World Cup:
- seems to be less pissing and moaning, diving and players being general arses in the women's (Cameroon aside!)
- I think there are more unforced errors / lapses of judgement and/or attention in the women's
- flakier keepers (maybe... I'm not sure I've seen enough)

She moved her hand into the path of the ball
From what I gathered her arm was between body and ball. Had the ball not hit her arm it would have hit her body anyway. That is my understanding but hard to understand the new handball rules coupled with VAR :hmm:

It was certainly "ball to hand" but that doesn't seem to matter anymore. Given the interpretation of the rules so far at WWC, I was surprised it wasn't given. Maybe your interpretation is how the ref saw it.

I’ll be on a train when it kicks off and having spent this morning on trains don’t hold out much hope for watching it via train wi-fi but should make it to the Hole in the Wall at Waterloo before the second half. This is going to be tough.
