Women's World Cup 2019

I've just realised. I have a work trip to Leeds on Tuesday. I'm going to be on a train when we play the semi final:( The wifi (is there wifi?) better work.
Depends on the company, but I think most long-distance journeys have 'em now. Obviously can be a bit laggy, though. It's how I watched the Cameroon game.

It's not great and a lot of them have quite low data limits, so you may not get to watch the whole thing. On some trains (Virgin, I think) you can pay to get better service, though.

FWIW - the wifi links on Eurostar were rubbish.
As well as having an irrational hatred of "all things Man U" I am occasionally guilty of prejudice against the USA. Having seen reports like this though, if we don't win, I want Megan Rapinoe to lift the trophy and stick it right up trump's jacksie.

I have American rellys in the country at the moment. Two will be shooting off to France for the semis and final before coming to stay with me, the third is coming to stay with me on Monday.

I got pretty lucky, I think. A previous train I'd been on that day had a 20Mb ( ) limit, but by the time the game kicked off I was on a Virgin train, and although it was spotty and laggy I still managed to basically watch the game.

Cool. National Express has reasonable wifi. I've watched sport on that.

Cameroon match might have been one to miss, mind. :D I only saw the second half, but it was a car crash of a match. I was very pleased to see that England were so much better last night against a team that wanted to play.

What, if any, are the differences between the men's and women's game?

Can't say I've noticed too many, but then I'm not much of a student of the technicalities of the game.

There are a few between the world cup and premier league. The world cup is enjoyable for it.
tonights match is no walkover. Rooting for extra time.

"If you put the ball in the middle of the box she'll get on the end of it"... as we watch a replay of her completely missing a ball into the middle of the box.
