Surprised I haven’t found a reference to this in this forum, unless I’ve failed at searching.
I hadn’t even heard of this series until I saw an ad for the first episode of S2, which is premiering on lowly Alibi channel. We rather liked the first two episodes and on the strength of it decided to buy S1 on Amazon.
In a nutshell, bloody enjoyable and entertaining. Well written, even better produced, witty, fantastic cast… basically Desperate Housewives but much faster paced, funnier, and with murders thrown in. As it happens created by the same guy.
I can’t find a legal way to watch S1 for free, but if it sounds like the kind of thing you might like and are happy to spend 20-odd quid on TV content, I would actually recommend paying for it if you are in need of good TV entertainment to watch. It seems S2 has been better received by critics by unless it takes a massive dive in the last remaining episodes, I’m loving S1.
