Hmmm just checked.. only 1hour 41 minutes to the closest train station (Tisbury) which is only 7ish miles away. £24.30 return.

The trouble is, if I did it I would be taking a risk as really I would be "on call" as it were and officially I should be right here in London, even though I probably won't be doing anything more than fielding phone calls.

OMG.. just bought a ticket. NO IDEA if I can actually make it or not. If I do it will be alone - gaijinboy is being a bit rubbish about it all - and by bike from Tisbury with my tiny tent on my back....
