What's in your glass?

A big bottle of Kingfisher £1 at Morrisons
It tastes all soapy cos someone didn't rinse the glass well :(

Tentatively trying this :-

"Plan De Dieu Promenade Des Papes."

A Cotes du Rhone Villages with a name possibly contrived to deceive.. according to some, but not to others :-

Currently under a fiver at Tesco - it isn't a direct substitute for the excellent Maurel Vedeau Vin de Pays D'Oc which I regret not buying a case of ...

A lot richer than the Vedeau- would go well with beefier food than my quasi-vegan fare ... but it may grow on me ...

Arse.

The locals have cleaned out my local Tesco of the half price "Promenade Des Papes" - back to £9.99 - when I'd only got 4 bottles in. No excuse - it's only 100 yards from my front door.

Mainly because my sinuses are killing me so it was taking too long to learn to appreciate it. :(

The new half price one is a Cotes de Ventoux - blackcurranty Syrah .. I've gone off the New World version .. perhaps the French will have more character ... :hmm:

For me at the moment it's soluble co-codamol.

I may have to go and get some sinutabs - not that I generally go in for that sort of thing ...

I've got some kind of cold which gives you the shits and the tramadol has totally got rid of it.

So glad it's not beer in my glass.

Mojito. Double Bacardi, mint and fresh lime juice and some mix Bacardi Mojito mix from a pouch... not bad either.

The sun came out so mojito time

Need to slow down if we've got any chance of watching the last 2 eps of The Corner later.

I have a box of completely random beers from a place called 'my brewery tap' who flog micro brewery stuff- every bottle is a gamble. :D

At the moment I'm drinking one dedicated to Bury's footy team. :D It's not bad.

See I read that you are drinking arse but then you started gibbering on about prices and distances and amounts :(
Your own or someone elses?:p

Sainsbury's economy white wine
Although, actually, it's suprisingly very nice  Has anyone else tasted it? It's SO easy to drink. Has cheered up my evening no end :D

Bizarre! What's it called? :D

I have a nice Soave, made even nicer by the fact the Co-op is closing for refurbishment and have reduced almost all their wine to 2 for a fiver :) Will try not to drink both tonight, in view of the bottle of Pinot Grigio I had this afternoon.
