Happily, Death Metal Magpie is at work till at least 1am, Blind Lemon Magpie is at a rehearsal and eating out and Very Tall Lodger is away at his parents place in Devon so I don't have to cook! I am nourishing myself on fruit juice, vodka and ciggies.

We had spag bol for dinner and it was lovely.

We had a quick tea of Higgedy spinach slices, boiled Jersey Royals with butter, broccoli (how I loathe thee!) and carrots.

hot new potatoes with garlic mayonnaise, salad (cucumber, tomato, red onion, red pepper, rocket, olive oil, salt & pepper); lamb, chilli and onion kofte

Did a use stuff up meal last night.
Onion, spring onion, mangetout, cannellini beans, grated carrot, peas, ham, garlic and a can of Discovery Mexican Wicked Chilli sauce.
With a little past, a pitta bread and a sprinkle of cheese.

Was not bad considering a lot of the veggies were past their best.

Tonight will be delights from the freezer... small portion of cottage pie for me and bean and bacon gratin for the boy.

I've never thought of doing that with scrambled eggs, sounds nice though.

I got as far as taking them out of the freezer, but I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them.

It is good, best with poached eggs for me.
