potato waffles as the 'bread' in some honey roast ham and polish cheese sarnies (polish cheese was in the reduced aisle. Like kraft cheese slices but with herbs in)
Half a kilo of green beans that needed eating up, a can of low calorie soup and a can of sardines.
Not exactly a low calorie meal, but a low carb tasty one and probably nutritious.
It remains to be seen if my current weekend indulgences in fish will set off my gout ...
I just cooked veggie sausages with red peppers, yellow courgettes and mushrooms chopped up small, plus sweet potato mash, all lathered in bbq sauce. Really nice.
Mr. QofG's is cooking tonight. It's a pork belly recipe. Yesterday it was slow cooked in the oven with red wine and chorizo. It's been in the fridge overnight with a weight on it. Later it will be cut into slices and griddled.
We're having it with potato wedges and creamy leeks
This ended up as venison grill steaks, oven chips & peas so I'm doing the saffron braised tomato & potato tonight to go with some bacon-wrapped chicken breasts, broccoli & carrots.
can of low calorie soup - 156 kcals
half a small can of butter beans - 105 kcals
small slice of bread - last of loaf - 100 kcals ?

chicken casserole. Yesterday I ate a whole pack of polish cheese slices with 10 potato waffles and a packet of decent quality non formed ham. My stomach objected in the strongest of terms this morning. Keep forgetting to be careful about what I eat.
OH wants quorn burgers and chips tonight.
I have tried to convince him that I will agree to it if he buys me some meat that I can have instead of quorn burgers (and lets me cook it without fussing).
This could go in so many directions, mostly probably bad.
I will report back this evening.
4 pork sausages with ketchup[my late lunch], chicken curry later. Salted caramel cake, tried my friends the other day and got dessert envy so had to buy one.
