What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Hungover and knackered so scrambled eggs on toast and ketchup and a can of orangina, will do a proper food shop tm get loads of fruit and veggies.

Going round me Mums tonight - she's cooking Piri-Piri chicken and all the rice and accompaniments, my sister's doing Sag Aloo and I'm cooking Chicken Jalfrezi. Smells nice bubbling away on the hob just now - I thought it was lacking something when I tried it earlier so bunged half a jar of chilli pickle in. Seems to have done the trick.

Omg this is ace. Fucking lethal mind. :D Dunno if everyone will take to its fiery heat. <evil cackle>

I got some peas in my veg box and planned to make a risotto. It turns out they're sugar snap peas and you eat the whole pod. I had my heart set on a risotto, so will still make one with the peas and some spinach.

An Indian takeaway that was pretty shit. Took and hour and a half to arrive, I had to go out so I missed it and had it late. If I was at home I'd have told them not to bother. I'm almost certain the lamb was beef and the layer of fat on top of the sauce with a good 3mm.

I'm seldom impressed with Indian takeaways. I could have done better, quicker and cheaper, which is what I almost always say when I have one, which is about once a year these days. It takes about a year for the memory of the last shit one to fade.

I feel sick now

eta... it was so shit I went to the bother of creating a trip advisor account to winge

I had some chicken, and cous cous with onion, chilli and yellow pepper flavoured with ras-el-hanout, and a salad of parley, lettuce, salad onions, red peppers, cucumber, radishes and tomatoes. Well nice.

Deboned chicken (reduced in waitrose) with parmentier potatoes (reduced in tesco) with stuffed peppers using a recipe from Grazia magazine. [emoji106]

Yesterday was wholemeal toast with marmite and a poached egg, followed by a handful of curry chips after midnight.

Today its smoked mackerel, potato salad, spinach, beetroot, cherry tomatoes, coleslaw (easy on the portion size, 'salads' such as this are probably as fattening as takeaway....) and small wedge of cheesecake for dessert. The discipline i am attempting is paying off cos an old Fred Perry made an appearance today. I couldnt fit into it a month ago :):)

I think I'd said I was doing a fish pie tonight, but it takes a while to put together and some of the ingredients have not arrived home yet (OH supposed to be shopping on his way home from work *looks at watch and tuts*) so it might end up being eggs on toast instead

455g baked potatoes 423 kcals
200g hummous - 692 kcals
bag of salad
St Emilion.

A good job lunch was very light.

I'm aiming for no more than 2500 kcals per day - hoping to go as low as 2000 for the forseeable future ...

Bacon, cheese, tomato chutney and sausagemeat CheeseDawgs!

I had two dinners -- couscous, green beans and moroccan lamb tagine at a mate's, with home-picked berries and cream as a dessert. Then I came home and my housemates were having a barbecue, so I had a load of meat from that.

My boss brought me lunch so I've finangled many free meals today
