What's for tea tonight? (#8)

Is that seared salmon, or marinaded in some way? :)

It's a cajun method that can be done with all sorts of types of fish and seafood, chicken, alligator etc. - it's coated in a mix of paprika, chilli powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, thyme, oregano, and basil and then fried in butter over a high heat. One of my favourites so I'm really looking forward to it! :)

For dinners after work this week I made a big batch of Aubergine Bolognese to go with a variety of Pasta's and it is delicious

2 - Aubergines, 2 - Peppers, roast the shit out of them for 40 minutes

Peel the Aubergines (and peppers if you can be arsed) then whack em in a pan with a chilli, cook for a few minutes, then bung 2 tins tomatoes in, add a bit of water, cook for 10-20 minutes with a dash of balsamic, little salt, and tiny pinch sugar.

Eat.

Turkey Thai green curry with onions, asparagus, pak choi, fine beans and courgettes. And probably a bell pepper too. With rice.

we have four eggs (as mentioned in another thread), two lamb burgers and some vegetables. Not sure that makes much

I want pizza from dominos and ben and jerrys but it's expensive and it's not been that long since I last had it. But I want it. But it's expensive and I'm fat. But I want it.

Home made salmon fishcakes with peas and dill and pea shoot and caper salad.

I'm really grumpy and can't be arsed to cook. We couldn't agree on what to order so he's having a papa johns pizza with a voucher and I've ordered Chinese (chicken satay and crispy lamb) with another voucher. [emoji4]

Seasoned some pork medallions with loads of s+p and some garlic italian seasoning, flattened it out (I enjoyed this bit ) & flash fried.

Served with new potatoes, mushrooms, peppers, cherry toms & spring onions all roasted together in the oven with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Tortellini and pesto (both readymade). None too good quality (sister bought it!):D:facepalm:

Awful, bulletty stuff filled with God knows what! I'm not talking about the reasonably good (and expensive) supermarket stuff that costs about €3.50 for 250g, but the nasty, cheaper stuff for €2. The product was Emma Giordani and not recommended. And the Tesco readymade pesto (in a little tub) is oily and awful.

Strawberries and yoghurt for dessert....

I'm feeling sorry for myself after two days not training and 11 hours at work today, so a supermarket Pizza Express Margherita and chocolate for pudding.

Last night was chaana & spinach curry with quinoa, chapatis and hot mango pickle. Tonight I'm out for a friends birthday at a place renowned for steak.

As a vegetarian I shall be having the veggie burger and chips option!

Last night was corn on the cob which was grown last year. Fresh from the garden garlic, radishes, assorted leaves, some comte cheese... and fresh from the garden gooseberries and custard.

Makes a change from baguette.
